The La Biosthetique system features synergistically active product selections to encompass all skin types, including the oily acneic skin, dry and/or dehydrated skin, sensitive skin, and the aging skin, as well as any combination of these conditions.

In addition to the basic program, there is an array of treatment products for special needs, such as acne, dryness, dehydration, a grainy texture, wrinkling, hyperpigmentation, sensitivity etc. The combination of a base program using La Biosthetique products augmented by our medical grade peels, glycolic products, antioxidants and skin supplements insures that your skin is receiving the very best and targeted care.
This question has been tossed around for decades, but the fact is that all skins are a combination. We normally think of a combination skin as oily in the T-zone (nose, forehead, chin) and dry in the Neutral zone (the outer portion of the face) A “normal” skin is lightly oily in the t-zone, and lightly dry in the neutral zone. In reality, some may be lightly dry in the T-zone, and very dry on the rest of the face, some may be extremely oily and acneic in the T-zone, while perfectly normal on the rest of the face. Identifying the emollient and moisture balance of the skin is essential to prescribe skin creams, to avoid a cream feeling too light, or overly oily. Often a skin program includes “spot treatment” for an area of concern.
The IDENTITIEST is a patented skin testing system, utilizing three reagents (reactive agents). The first two reagents measure the amount of oil on the surface of the skin, and the third measures the amount of moisture retained in the surface of the skin. IDENTITEST is a reliable tool enabling your Aesthetician to determine what levels of emollient and hydration your skin requires for its particular needs. In addition, it’s an effective way to track the progress of your treatment program.
The La Biosthetique collection consists of five methods of care, separated by the internal, external, and genetic circumstances that form the profile of the individual skin. Within each “Methode” are products suited for varying degrees of oily, dry and dehydrated skins.
For oily and blemished skin
The intensive effect of a marine algae based complex purifies and refines the skin. Suitable for teen as well as adult acne, the treatment is anti-inflammatory and sebum regulating, yet will not dry or dehydrate the skin. Many acne treatments, while initially successful, ultimately upset the skin balance and flora by dehydrating and over drying the skin. The result is sluggish, impure, poorly functioning skin. Methode Clarifiante restores and maintains the natural equilibrium of the skin.
Desincrustante: A deep cleansing lotion used in the evening to clear the skin of makeup, debris, and excess skin cells. Regular use unblocks clogged pores and prevents the formation of blackheads.
Clair de Teint Purifiant: A refreshing foamy cleanser that thoroughly cleanses without drying the skin.
Purete: A light protective skin cream that is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory. Essential oils calm the skin and regulate the sebum. Antioxidants combat environmental damage. NMF (Natural Moisture Fixation) complex prevents moisture loss without clogging the pores.
Likopan: An intensive and extremely effective treatment for pimples and inflammations. Calms the area and kills harmful bacteria while preserving the good bacteria and flora essential to healing. Cuts healing time in half and prevents reformation of pimples.
Visarome Gras: A highly active blend of therapeutic essential oils with an antibacterial and oil-dissolving effect on the skin. Helps prevent and treat comedones, has a soothing effect on irritation, and a general calming effect. Contains: Sage oil, mint oil, lime blossom absolute, rose oil, sandalwood, beragamot, amrys and palma rosa oil.
Visarome Intoxine: Essential oil blend to improve the skin’s metabolism, stimulating blood circulation and facilitating the natural removal of toxins. Contains: Cinnamon bark, chamomile, orange, lime blossom absolute, bergamot, amrys, rose, sandalwood and palma rosa oils.

This hypoallergenic, preservative free, plant based treatment line treats the skin carefully and helps it to rebalance itself. Ideal during peel or microdermabrasion programs, and after surgery to gently cleanse and hydrate without irritation.
Clair de Teint Doux: Water soluble cleansing lotion. Gentle enough to remove eye makeup.
Visalix Doux: Calming and hydrating toning lotion to refresh and hydrate. Particularly important for those who spend time in artificial (air conditioned/heated) environments. Suitable for all skin types.
Douceur Fluide: Soothing light textured lotion for normal to slightly oily sensitive skin.
Douceur Restructurante: Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant cream for normal to lightly dry sensitive skin.
Douceur Hydratante: Hydrating cream for sensitive dehydrated skin, lightly dry to dry.
Douceur Riche: Rich emollient cream for very dry sensitive skin.
Visarome Ridule: A powerful essential oil blend to relax taut skin, and calm skin irritations. Combats redness and soothes the skin. Contains bitter orange, bergamot, mandarin, palmarosa, jasmine and rose flower oil.
Visarome Congestifs: An essential oil blend to reduce excessive blood circulation in the skin and prevent the expansion of dilated small blood vessels. Effective when used daily in calming the reactivity of skin prone to dilated capillaries. Visarome Congestifs makes an excellent eye compress for dark circles. It’s also effective on temporary bruising. Contains bitter orange, cypress, lime blossom absolute, witch hazel, bergamot, palmarosa, sandalwood, rose flower and amyris oils.
