Our Aestheticians work under the supervision of physicians certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Our Medi-Spa Director, Nancy Dugan, was one of the first Medical Aestheticians in the country, with over 25 years of experience providing skin care and ancillary services to cosmetic and reconstructive patients. Nancy is licensed in both NY and NJ in Cosmetology and Aesthetics. She is also licensed by the NJ State Board of Permanent Cosmetics and has practiced Permanent Makeup since 1992. An instructor of skin care techniques and makeup design, she has trained hundreds of aestheticians and makeup artists over her 30+ year career.
The majority of Nancy's training is the result of thousands of hours of private tutelage from Europe's best teachers in Austria, Germany, and France. In addition to her many contributions to trade publications, she was a contributing author to the medical textbook Principles and Practice of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for her approach to post-surgical illusionary makeup techniques. Nancy is also featured in the Standard Textbook of Cosmetology for her approach to paramedical camouflage therapy and clinical cosmetology, which is used around the world for professional cosmetology training.
Magda Nyitray is a NJ State licensed Aesthetician since 1998. Her professional life has been devoted to esthetics, spa management and fashion. She is certified in skin analysis, all forms of clinical and non-clinical skin care, energy based skin tightening procedures, facial and body waxing, chemical exfoliation, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, and several disciplines of massage including Swedish, Lymphatic drainage, and Reflexology.
Adjunct to her position as a Medical Esthetician with the Plastic Surgery Group, Magda owns and manages her own company, offering on-location hair and makeup services. Her work has been featured in publications such as Town and Country, The Knot, New Jersey Bride, and Manhattan Bride. Her fashion experience includes work for Chanel, DKNY, Yumi Katsuri, Vera Wang and others, as well as hair and makeup for NYC’s Fashion Week.
Magda brings a great deal of expertise and enthusiasm to the Plastic Surgery Group Medi-Spa with her wealth of experience, calming demeanor, and unsurpassed skill set.
