Dr. Ablaza Offers Her Expertise at a Special Informational Evening for Women

On March 19, 2007, Mayor Joanne Cocchiola and the Women’s Initiative of Nutley held a special informational evening for women entitled “All About Me—An Evening for Women by Women.” Partner and Corporate Vice President of The Plastic Surgery Group in Montclair, Dr. Valerie J. Ablaza was present to offer her expertise to prospective patients and dispel some common myths about plastic surgery procedures.

The event’s participants had the opportunity to speak one-on-one with Dr. Ablaza. She answered questions and provided information on both surgical and non-surgical options available for cosmetic enhancements from facelifts to body contouring. Discussions in this friendly, comfortable forum proved to be invaluable to those women considering a particular cosmetic procedure who were afraid or unsure of the next step.

Situated alongside Dr. Ablaza was Kristi A. Breen, an aesthetician at The Plastic Surgery Group’s Medi Spa. Specializing in several facets of skin care, Kristi is a licensed cosmetologist with over twelve years experience in the industry. Participants were intrigued by photographs of Kristi’s handiwork as a certified Permanent makeup technician. Numerous women were eager to learn more about the technique that enhances their lips, eyes and brows with long-lasting color.

 

The evening was undoubtedly a success. Many women attended the event and were provided with a plentitude of information that may help guide them towards the self improvement they have always desired.
