Dr. Jennifer Giordano is a board certified and licensed professional counselor who specializes in cognitive-behavioral sexual and relationship therapy. She received her Master’s degree in Developmental Counseling from Vanderbilt University and earned a distinguished Doctoral degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She is also certified as a Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapist from the Albert Ellis Institute for Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy in New York City, and has been a practicing therapist, specializing in intimacy issue management and relationship counseling, for 14 years. She is an expert in individual and couples counseling, and frequently conducts clinical and educational seminars on a variety of therapeutic issues.
Dr. Giordano treats male and female clients who are not severely disturbed. Her focus is on the large percentage of the adult population who become developmentally blocked and who occasionally need professional help in order to resume their desired level of functioning. She limits her practice primarily to therapy with adults who are working through personal, relational, intimacy and sexual issues. Some conditions treated through her counseling approach are:
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made no later than 24 hours in advance of a scheduled appointment. If such notice is not given, clients will be held responsible for the entire cost of the missed or cancelled session.
Payment Policy
The fee for service will be due at the time of your counseling session.
Please note: Health insurance companies usually require that a diagnosis of your mental health be submitted to them. Such policies require that you have a diagnostic illness before they will agree to reimburse you.
